A major achievement in academic affairs at Brunswick College was the 9.7%
increase in quarter credit hour production over that of 1989-90. In addition, there was a
dramatic increase in the number of summer quarter offerings. --
Completion of the
institutional self-study for the reaffirmation of accreditation by the Southern Association. --
Phi Theta Kappa achieved level "5" status this year and was designated the
presidential chapter for the State of Georgia. Past PTK chapter president, John Talman,
was featured in USA TODAY as a member of the National Academic All-American
group. --
The major event with regard to Fiscal Year 1990-91, was the beginning of
construction of the new continuing education center, phase I. --
Statement of philosophy and purpose has been revised recently. The
