Abstract

1.Student center addition approved, 2. Nursing program initiated, 3. Full accredition 4. Health PE building underway.... As the end of this fourth year draws to a close, it marks the end of employment at this excellent institution for several of us and a temporary change for a number of others. Dean Coker leaves to assume new responsibilities as president of South Georgia College. I [Earl Hargett] depart to pursue graduate studies at The University of Tennessee.... From the table of contents: ACADEMIC AFFAIRS, ADMISSION AND ENROLLMENT OF STUDENTS, STUDENT AFFAIRS, LIBRARY, CONTINUING EDUCATION, BUSINESS MANAGEMENT AND THE COLLEGE CAMPUS, SUMMARY (The status, The future), Financial Report... A one-year certificate program in secretarial science was approved for the fall of 1968...The Chemical Technology program was significantly advanced through the work of Professor Howard Tyson who revised the entire curriculum and developed an off-campus course for the Thiokol Chemical Corporation... The problem of providing suitable housing for students living elsewhere in the state who desire to pursue two years of studies at Brunswick Junior College is a persisting one. There appears to be no solution to this problem at this time..The College Foundation became a reality during the year.
